During the last five years I've come across lots of people (well 9 or 10) who have said Beyond Baked Beans was their lifeline at uni. Of course, I had to pay them a few quid to admit it but nonetheless it's made all the hard work seem worthwhile.
I sometimes wonder what's become of you. Did you go on to greater things in the kitchen? Are you a budding Jamie, Nigel or Nigella? Or did you give up as soon as you got a regular income and now live off the chill counter at Marks & Sparks?
Is there anyone out there cooking a recipe they first found in a Beyond Baked Beans book? If so I’d love to hear from you on the Beyond Baked Beans page we've set up on Facebook
