I'm aware that a lot of you have been patiently waiting for a newsletter and just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten - it is on its way! What with the blog and the book (The Frugal Cook) the project has had to take a back seat for a while.

While you're waiting you might like to tell me what would most interest you. Easy everyday recipes or inexpensive recipes for when you have friends round? Savoury or sweet? Information on how to use seasonal ingredients? Ideas for using up leftovers? Moneysaving shopping tips?

Is there a particular type of dish that frustrates you or which you find difficult?

Is the level of the site about right or would you like more (or fewer) basic recipes?
